Less than a few years old amd JUNK

never again!! we decided to purchase a slew of new samsung appliances…never again!! we have had 5 +calls on our defective ice maker/fridge amd now a junk gas dryer !! the dryer started humming a few months ago, called out tech- said its a number of things, all of which are unavalible and can not order the parts!! now i have a pile of pretty metal in my laundry room! my washer always smells, my whites are always dirty, no soak option, doesnt clean for crap- the clothes always smell- just a bad junk purchase !

i purchased the unit new from home depot. in 2019 the unit began making a high pitched squeal. home depot referred me to samsung who advised an extended warranty was not in place. i was referred to a 3rd party repair co. who replaced defective parts for $400. now the unit is making a high pitched squealing noise. the dryer is unusable. the clothes also had a burning smell. samsung customer service was of no help. they advised the 3rd party repair was only good for 6 months. i'm not paying for a 2nd repair. i will remove this junk from my house and buy another brand.

i'm very disappointed in this dryer. we've had it 4 years and it's going to recycling because i couldn't in good conscious sell this to anyone else. i've had to replace the drum rollers 3 times already and am spending new year's day going in for the fourth set. every time i've replaced them, i've replaced all 4 rollers, belt, and tensioner. with what i've spent on parts i could have bought a new one. i'm a big supporter of samsung, but never again with their appliances.

had it three years and had two holes in the dryer for no apparent reason. now i'm stuck getting a new one since the drum is about the same price as an entirely new dryer. piece of junk!
