I bought this dishwasher to go into our new home. I had replaced all of the appliances in our old home with Kitchenaid SS apps and wound up getting the same models in black stainless at our new home. I love this dishwasher with the light inside. I wish KA would have made it to where the light would come on during the wash cycle. Unfortunately the light only comes on when you open the door or when the wash cycle is over. Cleans well, the ProWash cycle is very lengthy but cleans well.

What a great dishwasher.. until 5 days before 2 years of use. Started making an extremely audible "humming" noise. Seems to be a failing circulator pump. Would cost 1/3rd of the cost of the dishwasher cost to have it repaired professionally. We researched like crazy before we made this purchase and really liked it. For the cost of this you can buy 2 decent other dishwashers that would easily have a combined lifespan of better than 2 years. Can't possibly recommend this product.

Very pleased so far. The myriad of features was a bit intimidating at first, but after I got used to it, I am plasantly surprised. This is my 3rd dishwasher in the past 40 years.
