Frigidaire 24'' Built-In Dishwasher

This is the second Frigidaire dishwasher I have had, the 1st one lasted over 15 years, I just purchased this one, more features, very quiet, excellent value

I wanted to use my new Frigidaire dishwasher before giving my review. It is nice looking, quiet when running and cleans much better than the one I replaced. The racks are conveniently arranged for loading.

By now it's gone through the shredder.After 14 months it stopped working and the service tech informed me tha water had penetrated the control panel a replacement would be $200 and $150 labor plus plus delivery and disposal fees. I opted to replace it with a different brand doing a self install and transporting the new one and taking the Fridgidaire to the retailer for disposal at no cost to me.Poor design positioning the control board in line with the counter top making it prone to spills from the surface above.

We purchase the 4 piece Gallery series about 2.5 year ago. Hubby retired and we decided to replace all the appliance that were only 10 years old. Thinking new is better. We have had repair people out 4 times under warranty claimed. Water leaks. 4 different parts were replaced. Water leaked and ruined our hardware floors - in Kitchen and eat in kitchen and great room.. We have over 1200 square feet of hardware floors that had to be removed and replaced. The plumber under warranty paid for this with his insurance.. But water leaked every time. Had them out one other time not under warranty same thing water leak. Have bad hardware floor again. Than we have it when open the door it would drop, the springs would hold it. This is 2.5 years and I have to buy a new dishwasher? This not acceptable. Should have been replaced when under warranty - but we didn't win that argument. 4 visits is crazy. We only run the dishwasher a few times a weeks since only two of us, but this is terrible. Customer service was not very helpful and not sure why we didn't get a replacement.

Our last dishwasher was a much bigger and costly Bosc that stopped working one year and one month after we bought it. So I was a bit skeptical about this unit because of the size and the great value. We purchased this dishwasher in the black stainless steel about two months ago and we couldn't be happier. It cleans dishes, silverware or pot the first time. Very Happy would purchase again
