Was so very happy to have a new stove. Looks nice, even though it’s clunky and larger than needed. Today before a potluck, I’m not going because I couldn’t even begin to prepare my dish since the burners will not get hot enough to bring the water to a boil. Gave up after trying for two hours.

We bought our new stove 3 months ago. The first one came in damaged. Since this was our 3rd stove from a different manufacturer I wouldn't let the delivery guys bring into the house until I check it out thoroughly. Thank goodness, no damage. I would have rated some of the features differently, however, I'm still learning how to figure out the temperature settings because it's digital. I don't like digital, not meant for a stove... Only cell phones, computers, dvr, dvd, ipads should have digital components. I wish this Stove looked like the G.E. smooth top range that we bought first. Loved, that design, it had modern, sleek, up to date features. However, I disliked the smooth top. I own cast iron and old school Calphalon cookware. Those don't work well on smooth top, plus I don't like a glass stove. It's way Too easy to break the glasstop... I've heard alot of horror stories about that. I can my own preserves, which you can't do with a glasstop stove. I wish these manufacturers would stick with the basics (gas or coil) simple, easy to fix, No hassles. With these fanciful stoves you need a tech to fix, and there aren't enough to go around from glasstop owners. We were without a stove for 3 1/2 months, because all that's out there is gas or glass top. It's ridiculous that you can't get a decent, basic coul stove, without having to wait over a month to get. P.s. the bottom warmer, which everyone thinks it's for storage is very small and flimsy. I hope this stove last like our old Kenmore stove of 26 yrs. That's how it should be. Made to last. Manufacturers need to put the consumers first. Give them quality, basic, non-digital, sturdy, non-harazard equipment. Something to be proud of, for all.

Great design

I’ve had this range just a few weeks and so far I am very happy with it. I really like that this range mixes both traditional coil burners along with digital controls. So far I’m not a fan of the beep sounds - they could be improved. I love the “cooktop hot” feature - no more risking putting something down on or touching a still-hot burner. The black/stainless finish coordinates nicely with my other Whirlpool appliances.
