My story is way to long so I'll get right to the point. $5000 range purchased in 2014. It was replaced due to a non reparable gas line connection shortly after purchasing it. So now I have the second range. The oven does not work - the bottom electrical element is out. The KitchenAid part's department told me that it was an easy part to replace. So I bought the part ($66.00) and could not figure out how to replace it. I got nowhere with the parts department asking for help. They sent a video of a different range. Obviously that was no help. I then called KitchenAid service department. They said I need to have service on the range.....$100 service charge. The appliance repairman could not figure it out either. He called KitchenAid while he was at my home. The KitchenAid representative told the repairman that the element could not be replaced because it is welded shut with no access. So now $166.00 spent and I have a non repairable range (since November 2018). I called the service department the following day to get help. I asked them about my non repairable range and they stated that they have no history or knowledge of this issue. Yet when you read the reviews this issue has came up often. Someone is lying about this. The only thing they told me was that if I want an exchange it will cost me $2000.00. So I've spent $5000.00 and own the range outright. They want me to pay $2000.00 additional dollars for an exchange range. Keep in mind that this range was engineered and quality control had to sign off on this. Customer service from KitchenAid is horrible. When I asked to speak with someone higher up the ladder the representative said that there was no one higher up the ladder than who I was talking to. Really.....so this is how the story ends!!!!!!!!

Plenty of room for large pans.
