KitchenAid 12" Convection Digital Countertop Oven Onyx Black

Boutght this as a gift for my daughter. She took it out of the box and made cookies right away. She couldn’t believe how quick they cooked. And she thought those tasted better than the ones made in the traditional oven. I think she uses it every day.

We've been using a toaster oven in place of a microwave for over 20 yrs so we've had a handful. We decided to up our game and spend a little more this time and we're pleased we did. Everything about this oven is perfect from the convection to the heating choices to the cleaning and quality. Best choice by far.

Works nicely but there is no way I could broil on the upper rack level.

I love it. Tried my brothers in Maui and had to have one. Since I've gotten it over Christmas, I've used my normal oven a fraction of the time. So much easier, better to clean and I have to imagine, more efficient overall. Plus now my kids can cook easy and I'm not stressed with them using a normal oven.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my mother. The first time my husband and I tried to use it, it became extremely hot on the outside, all over. While telling my husband about the heat he waved his hand over it and the slot at the top was apparently letting out heat because it instantly burned his hand. I sent a note to Kitchen Aid through Ebay and have not had a response. When I tried to contact them via my mothers Ebay account, there was no phone number so I had to leave a message. They told me that my time to return it was over. I asked them to reconsider this because it was a gift and I was unable to try it until I came back from my Christmas vacation. I have always liked kitchen aid as a brand but am very disappointed to have a countertop oven I can't use or it will blister my paint, crack my granite and dry out or burn my cabinets. When I say it was hot, I'm not talking warm but the kind of hot you can't touch and still can't touch 30 minutes later. It took 45 minutes for it to cool down enough to handle. I want a functional oven. I hope they replace it or give my mother her money back but I'm not counting on it because it's through EBay and not Amazon where they can help us return it when it's defective and give a 60 day window for returns.
