I bought this compact washer about a month ago after moving into a small apartment. Fits perfectly in my downsized laundry room and works really well. Just took some getting used to doing smaller loads.

I have been very happy with the result of the washing itself. I feel the clothes are cleaner. I am having a bit of trouble with the on function, sometimes it takes me several attempts to get the machine on.

I would give a negative 100 stars if I could-had it since Aug 20(brand new)-used successfully 3 times intermittently- multiple service calls and phone calls, now whirlpool can't get parts to fix. This is by far the worst piece of junk appliance I have EVER used, or should I say tried to use! Here sits a non-functioning new washer while I have to take my laundry to the laundrymat:(

Extremely finicky control board!

I bought this at the end of August, and it did not work. The control board failed, and the machine was replaced. I should be thanking you for that, but the replacement machine, after 3 loads of laundry reverted to demo mode (?), and required waiting a repair man to come reprogram it. After almost two months of trips to the laundromat (I'm 79 years old, and that hasn't been easy!), I'm almost afraid to use this machine for fear that the controls will fail, once again. I am very disappointed in a brand I always thought I could count on!
