36" induction mistake

this product has been experiencing issues since we took ownership of the house but since our builder was a 10 months over schedule the appliance warranty expired. nothing but issues with d0 and now f0 alarms that keep the unit from operation. constantly powering the system off for a time period described int the help line but it won't reset. we spent over $10k on a complete samsung appliance package including a $3.5k combo microwave/oven wall unit that has the handle falling off. completely disappointed over longevity of product after only two years of use.

Beautiful and cooks well, but "neat" chefs beware!

I've had this cooktop for about a year and a half I guess. Overall, I love it. It does everything it's supposed to do and the noise is something you get used to. However, being a glass cooktop, I am constantly trying to wipe it while I cook. I just don't like a "dirty" surface. But each time I do, everything shuts off. There's some auto-shutoff mechanism that "detects spills" and shuts things off. But it doesn't stop with spills. Even wipe a damp rag across it and you'll be drying it, blowing it dry with your mouth and then turning EVERYTHING back on again. In hindsight, I don't think I'd buy this again. It is extremely frustrating to be in the middle of a 3-burner meal and have everything shut down time and again.

We have used it less than a year and it quit working. After 4 service calls and 3 weeks later it is still not working. And Samsung is refusing to replace it. I am ready to throw it in a trash can and buy another brand.

The Good: simple to use; very good control of temp; flex zone works very well - easy to make lots of pancakes; love induction - far better than electric or gas The Bad: we needed service within a couple of months of use; hopefully it turns out to be reliable; the magnetic knob doesn't really work at all; the controls can get messed up with splattered grease from cooking, but overall isn't too much of an issue; the Bluetooth doesn't connect with the app at all Overall happy with the cooktop, hoping the reliability doesn't become an issue. As an aside, not at all happy with the double oven (currently broken) or with the ease of getting a service call from Samsung. On the upside, the cooktop was repaired under warrantee without any hassle; the oven has been a hassle to get someone out
