I BOUGHT THE PEDESTAL AND PEDESTAL WASHER FROM LG DIRECTLY AND THEY LOST IT IN SHIPPING AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING. I PRETTY MUCH GOT AN OH WELL AND GOT MY MONEY BACK. SO I WENT TO TWO DIFFERENT STORES AND BOUGHT THE ITEMS. I LOVE THE PEDESTAL BUT THE WASHER IS NOT AS GOOD AS I WAS EXPECTING. IT TEARS UP MY UNDERGARMENTS TO THE POINT THAT THEY ARE RUINED EVEN ON THE HAND WASH CYCLE. IT IS REALLY DISAPPOINTING. YOU ALSO ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE ANY BLEACH IN THE WASHER SO THERE GOES WASHING REALLY DIRTY SMALL LOADS. SO WHAT DO THEY EXPECT TO BE WASHED IN IT? IT REALLY IS NOT AS USEFUL AS I WAS EXSPECTING ESPECIALLY FOR THE COST.

fits with our new LG dryer and no more bending... does its job fine and can store our laundry needs so pretty much no other storage needed for those in laundry room

Some of us have dryer vents that are under the unit and not behind the unit. Dryers come with the option to mount a kit to discharge out of the bottom saves space safer due to no pipes coiled behind the unit to trap lint allows the unit to be pushed to the rear wall but these pedestals need to have a perforated slot option cut into them to allow the pedestal to be used in a bottom discharge configuration. I modify the drawer by cutting the slot and building a barrier around the vertical discharge. Sure it voids the pedestal warranty but we get to enjoy the units sitting higher and we dont have to bend over as far to wash and dry clothes and we dont have to worry about a dryer lint fire behind the unit.
